Your son or daughter may need extra help with GCSE Physics, but another fixed one-hour lesson after school is not always the best answer. By the evening, they may be tired and find it difficult to concentrate.
This support allows them to work through Physics questions in shorter sessions during the week. I mark their work at agreed points, explain mistakes and help them improve their answers.
How It Works
- You tell me your son or daughter’s year group, exam board and the areas they find difficult.
- I share a suitable set of questions or a past paper using Kami.
- They work through it in manageable sections over seven days.
- I mark the work and add hints, comments and explanations.
- They return to unsuccessful questions and improve their answers.
- At the end of the week, I provide a short summary of what has gone well and what they should practise next.
What Can They Work On?
The work can focus on:
- one GCSE Physics topic
- equations and calculations
- practical questions
- longer written answers
- exam technique and command words
- a mixture of questions from different topics
- a complete past paper
The support is suitable for separate GCSE Physics and the Physics content of Combined Science.
Questions or a Past Paper?
A targeted set of questions may be most useful if your son or daughter has a particular area of difficulty, such as electricity calculations, forces or six-mark questions.
A full past paper can help identify gaps from across the course. If you would like a meaningful mark, your son or daughter should complete the paper independently before I begin giving help.
If I provide hints while the paper is being completed, it becomes a guided learning exercise rather than a true assessment.

The seven-day support includes:
- one agreed question set or one past paper
- digital marking and annotations
- written hints and explanations
- voice comments where helpful
- opportunities to correct answers
- guidance on exam technique
- a short final progress summary
This is not an instant or continuously monitored service. I check and respond to the work at agreed points during the week.
About Me
I have taught Physics for more than 20 years across KS3, GCSE and A level.
I enjoy helping young people break difficult questions into smaller, more manageable steps. My aim is not simply to say whether an answer is right or wrong. I want your son or daughter to understand how to improve it and feel more confident when they meet a similar question again.

The introductory price is £75 for seven days of support.
This covers one agreed set of questions or one GCSE Physics past paper. There is no contract and no obligation to book another week.
