✏️ Paper first! Work out every question on paper before you tap Show solution. Write down every step – the equation, the numbers with units, the rearranging and the answer with its unit. In the exam, if your final answer is wrong you can still get marks for correct working, but only if the examiner can see it.

AQA GCSE Physics Equations Workbook — £12

35 equations · 109 worked examples · 237 questions · 127 pages

Students lose marks on calculations for the same few reasons: they cannot recall the equation, they cannot rearrange it, or they forget to convert the units. This workbook drills all three, one equation at a time.

Every equation on the AQA GCSE Physics (8463) equations sheet gets its own section: the equation in words and symbols, a units table, a formula triangle where one applies, three worked examples set out step by step, and a page of practice questions with lined working space.

  • Full booklet, 127 pages — all 35 equations, Foundation and Higher (HT clearly labelled)
  • Core booklet, 37 pages — one page per equation, Higher Tier removed, for Foundation groups, cover lessons and homework
  • 109 worked examples using the FIFA method: Formula, Insert, Fine tune, Answer
  • 237 questions, each labelled Foundation, Standard or Stretch, covering rearranging, unit conversions and “Show that”, “Estimate” and “Explain” commands
  • A common-mistake note and required-practical link on every equation
  • Multi-step questions combining two equations, plus graph and data-table practice
  • Retrieval boxes, a progress tracker and a one-page equation summary
  • Full answers showing the three marking points: equation, substitution, and answer with unit

Two A4 PDF files. Black and white throughout, so it prints cheaply on a school photocopier.

AQA GCSE Physics Specification Focus Questions — £12

8 booklets · 682 questions and answers · 137 worked examples · 128 pages

Revising from a specification is hard, because it tells you what to know but never asks you anything. Every learning point in the AQA GCSE Physics (8463) specification has been rewritten as a question, with the answer directly underneath, in the specification’s own order. Cover the answer, have a go, then check.

  • One booklet per specification section: Energy, Electricity, Particle Model of Matter, Atomic Structure, Forces, Waves, Magnetism and Electromagnetism, and Space Physics
  • 682 questions and answers, following the specification point by point
  • 137 worked examples showing the equation, substitution, unit conversions and answer
  • 56 exam tips flagging the mistakes that actually lose marks
  • All 10 required practicals with method, measurements, graphs and improvements, plus a checklist
  • 24 six-mark practice questions with mark schemes
  • Higher Tier and Separate Physics content tagged, so Foundation and Combined students know what to skip
  • Three tick boxes per question, for tracking across three revision sessions

Eight A4 PDF files. Works on phone, tablet and computer, and prints cleanly.

AQA Combined Science: Trilogy Specification Focus Questions — £14.99

24 booklets · 1126 questions and answers · 154 worked examples · 237 pages

The same question-and-answer format, covering all three sciences. Every learning point in the AQA GCSE Combined Science: Trilogy (8464) specification has been rewritten as a question, with the answer directly underneath, in the specification’s own order. Cover the answer, have a go, then check.

  • 24 booklets: Biology 4.1–4.7, Chemistry 5.1–5.10 and Physics 6.1–6.7, colour-coded by science
  • 1126 questions and answers, following the specification point by point
  • 154 worked examples showing the equation, substitution, unit conversions and answer
  • 119 exam tips flagging the mistakes that actually lose marks
  • All 21 required practicals with method, measurements, results and improvements, plus a checklist
  • 68 six-mark practice questions with mark schemes
  • Written for Trilogy, not cut down from the separate sciences — nothing students do not need is included
  • Higher Tier content tagged, so Foundation students know what to skip
  • Three tick boxes per question, plus a contents page and equation list in every booklet

Twenty-four A4 PDF files — Biology, Chemistry and Physics for the price of one revision guide. Works on phone, tablet and computer, and prints cleanly.

Which one should I get?

The Equations Workbook is for calculations: recalling equations, rearranging them and getting the units right. The Specification Focus Questions cover the whole course as recall practice, including the required practicals and six-mark questions. They work well together — one builds the maths, the other builds the knowledge.

Taking Combined Science rather than separate Physics? Get the Trilogy Focus Questions, which cover Biology, Chemistry and Physics with the separate-science content removed.

Questions before you buy

Which exam board is it for? AQA GCSE Physics (8463) and AQA GCSE Combined Science: Trilogy (8464). Much of the content suits other boards, but the tiering and the equation list follow AQA.

Can I print it for my whole class? Yes — one purchase covers unlimited printing for your own students. Please do not share the PDF files outside your school.

Does it work for Combined Science? Yes. The Trilogy Focus Questions are written for Combined Science throughout. In the Physics-only products, Separate Physics and Higher Tier content is tagged so Trilogy students know what to skip.

How do I get the files? Checkout is handled by Payhip and the download link arrives by email straight away.
