Frequently asked questions
Is it free?
Yes. Every paper and answer key is free to use, print and share.
How many different papers can it make?
Practically unlimited. Each paper picks a different set of questions, and the numbers, diagrams and contexts change every time.
What is the difference between Standard and Challenge?
Standard matches the level of most grammar-school 11+ maths tests. Challenge uses larger numbers and more multi-step reasoning, closer to the hardest selective and independent-school papers.
Multiple choice or write-in?
Many 11+ tests are multiple choice, with answers marked on a separate sheet; others ask children to write their answers. Practise in the format your child will sit.
Can I share a paper?
Yes. Press Share this paper to copy a link to the exact same paper, or type its paper code into the box to load it again later.
Does it work on a phone?
Yes. The papers work on phones, tablets and computers, and print neatly on A4.
