A Foundation and a Higher test for every topic, written in the style of AQA GCSE Physics and Combined Science papers. Each test has numbered questions, mark allocations and a full mark scheme hidden under every part.
These are original questions written in the AQA style – they are not real past paper questions. For real papers, see AQA past papers.
How the tests work
- Foundation or Higher? Do the test for the tier you will sit. Higher tests include harder, multi-step and 6-mark questions.
- Combined Science or Separate Physics? Questions only for Separate Physics are inside a blue box marked 🔷 SEPARATE PHYSICS ONLY. Combined Science students skip those questions. Each test gives two totals: one for Separate Physics and one for Combined Science.
- Space is a Separate Physics only topic, so Combined Science students do not need the Space tests at all.
- Exam conditions: write your answers on paper, use a calculator and the equation sheet, and stick to the time allowed. Mark your work only when you have finished.
