Optimising Training and Preventing Injury in 10 Steps: AQA GCSE PE

āœļø Paper first! Work out every question on paper before you open the answer. Write down every step – the equation, the numbers with units, the rearranging and the answer with its unit. In the exam, if your final answer is wrong you can still get marks for correct working, but only if the examiner can see it.

āœļø Have paper and a pen ready. Reading on screen is not enough. Make short notes on paper as you go: key words, labelled diagrams and examples from sport. Work out each quick check on paper before you pick or type your answer. Write the exam answer in full sentences, then mark it with the mark scheme.

Work through Optimising Training and Preventing Injury in 10 short steps. Each step has the key ideas and a worked example, then quick checks. Work every check out on paper, then type or pick your answer. The next step unlocks when you get the checks right. Your progress is saved on this device.
